Music brought them together in Asheville, North Carolina. Brian, then drummer, and LaZendra, then singer, instantly became the best of friends. Nearly four years into their friendship, Brian realized that she was the woman he wanted to build a life with. Though LaZendra wanted to hold onto their friendship, Brian continued to pursue her every day for eight months. And every day for eight months, she said “not today, sir!” Then, it just clicked. LaZendra’s “no” became a “yes”, composing the perfect modulation in their love song.

The couple gracefully exchanged vows in the spring of 2009. Soon after, they started their lives together in Texas. As gastronomers, they aspired to nurture their hearts for people, food, drink, good conversation, and unparalleled must-try dining experiences. Thus, they created their restaurant blog in 2012, “Dining with the Danforth’s”.

 

Although they’re intensely devoted to exploring and seeing the world to find the best cuisines, their first love is their two boys, Stephen and Braxton. In 2013, the dynamic duo uprooted their family’s lives to advance their careers (Go Gators!), respectively, and to continue leveraging their gifts to bring people together through unforgettable and fun-filled social gatherings in Florida.
