Blue Highway Pizza

Happy National Pizza Day! We love food holidays because they give us a reason to get out and eat at some of our most beloved restaurants (or try out new places). For this particular holiday, we wanted to highlight one of our favorite pizza restaurants in the Gainesville area- Blue Highway, a Pizzeria.

Many of us want to have restaurant quality food, but we are still being COVID conscious. Luckily for us, Blue Highway is taking all precautions to create a safe and healthy environment for their customers. They currently offer either carry out, or outdoor dining.

This is a family friendly establishment, but it is also optimum for a casual business lunch. Brian likes to bring donors from the University of Florida here because it provides a low-key, relaxed atmosphere. Also, who doesn’t love pizza?

However, if you are wanting something other than pizza, they have an extensive menu filled with paninis, salads, and other small plates. We picked up one of their most famous creations- the brie and spinach flatbread pizza. Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and you can show a little love to your someone special with their heart-shaped flatbread.

Another reason we love Blue Highway is because they offer a take-home pizza kit. Our boys are foodies just like us, and they love being able to toss the dough and add all of their toppings. It is such a wonderful bonding experience for us as a family. Not to mention, it results in a meal!
