We recently celebrated twelve years of marriage. And we decided to have Sunday Brunch at one of our new favorite restaurants, Covey Kitchen & Cocktails at the Hotel Eleo. We especially enjoy this spot because it is extremely close to where we both work. This makes it the perfect place for lunch or a happy hour post-workday.
If you like to have the option of different cuisines from across the globe, Covey Kitchen & Cocktails at the Hotel Eleo is top-notch. Executive Chef Charlie Keller has created a robust seasonal menu featuring fresh produce from local farms.
Some of most popular dishes that are currently being offered are Salmon Nicoise, Grits, Short Ribs with their house demi glaze sauce, the Cobb Salad with Deviled Egg, and so many more options. If you have a sweet tooth, they also offer Florida Citrus Pie, Bread Pudding, and Red Velvet Cake. Our personal favorites are the French Toast Bread Pudding served with seasonal fruit compote.
The atmosphere is classy yet laid back with a very modern and clean design, and the employees are very welcoming. The floor to ceiling windows and a large open space lends for the perfect view for restaurant goers. This is also a great spot to try an inventive craft cocktail. Some local favorites are Jus De Piore, Perfect Fig, and Elderberry Margarita. They also have a large wine selection and an offering of craft beers from some of the best local breweries.
Whether you are looking for the perfect restaurant for a business lunch or a romantic dinner, Covey Kitchen & Cocktails has the perfect menu to appease every palate.
