Date Night at Prime & Pearl Gainesville

Prime & Pearl at Celebration Pointe Being busy with full-time careers while raising two boys, and also keeping up with our passions can make it hard for us to find time together to unwind and enjoy each other’s company. This seems to be the trend with all working families. The time flies by, and sometimes it feels as though we are constantly playing catch up. This is why when we have the opportunity for a date night, we are very meticulous in picking a restaurant that boasts the perfect combination of atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly service. We want the entire experience to be fun and relaxing from start to finish. For these reasons, we decided to check out what we now believe is one of the best new restaurants in town- Celebration Pointe’s Prime & Pearl. Head chef & owner, Edgar Lyons, previously served as a chef in the White House, and he has crafted a menu that will attract and mesmerize foodies from near and far. Prime & Pearl offers dry-aged meats, fresh seafood, and a huge assortment of wine and cocktail creations. Right away we were attracted to the vibe of the restaurant. The design was wonderfully done. The atmosphere was inviting, with a hint of romance. It was perfect for our date night. Brian chose the 16oz Ribeye, paired with their mouthwatering Loheese, and LaZendra ordered a fresh Caesar Salad with White House Caesar dressing, Parmesan Crisp, and the Point Judith Calamari. For dessert, we shared the Towering Carrot Cake. It was an absolute show stopper! It commanded the room as the waitress paraded it from the kitchen to our table.

The service was impeccable. Everyone we encountered played a part in making sure we had a great experience. After dinner, we highly recommend taking a little stroll around Celebration Pointe. Here you will find live music and shoppes. This is also a great place to meet up with friends for drinks at some of the surrounding restaurant bars.

Thanks to Prime & Pearl, this was such a perfect evening getaway for just the two of us.
